What can we give you as a wedding gift?

Your presence is the real present - seriously!

Since we‘ll be long-distance for the next year, please don’t worry about air fryers or fancy dinnerware. If you really want to get us something: to honour Katherin‘s Chinese heritage, we‘d be happy to receive a red envelope with a little something to support our next chapter.

Can I bring a plus one?

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but we’re keeping things small—there’s only space for 70 guests. So we’re only able to include those listed on the invite. Thanks so much for understanding!

Can I take pictures with my cell phone?

We've invited our talented photographer, Basti, to beautifully document the day
—and all photos will be shared with you afterwards.

We kindly ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony. You’re very welcome to take photos before the ceremony begins. After that, please be fully present with us in the moment.

You are welcome to bring your analog camera to the party and capture more memories on film :)

Is there parking at the venues?

At Schloss Benrath: Parking is available in all public parking areas around the museum, including the Orangerie on Urdenbacher Allee, parking lots on Hildener Straße and Meliesallee, as well as by the Rhine along Benrather Schlossufer. You can also use nearby parking garages: the parking garage on Cäciliestraße and the Schlossgarage on Paulistraße.

Strandperle Düsseldorf: Parking is also available at the marina of Unterbacher See. This is a video-monitored parking lot charged daily. The cost is 2€ per day, valid from 00:00 to 24:00.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

If you are attending the civil marriage ceremony at Schloss Benrath,
please arrive by 11:45 latest

If you're joining us for the drinks reception after the ceremony at Schloss Benrath, please arrive unitl and 12:30.

All guests are warmly invited to join us for the reception at the Strandperle in Düsseldorf starting from 16:00, following a short break.
